What will happen after?

You need to stay for 3-4 hours at the hospital until you recover fully from the general anesthesia. After surgery in the next 1-2 days you may notice a small blood loss or some cramping in the lower abdomen. This is expected and should not raise any concern. Avoid using tampons after hysteroscopy, sanitary pads are prefered. Sexual intercourse can be resumed as soon as there is no vaginal discharge. If you have had a general anesthetic you should arrange with a friend or relative to come and take you home from the hospital. After general anesthesia it would be better to avoid going back to your work for 2-3 days.
