Hysteroscopy is a fairly safe procedure and serious complications are very rare. Complications that can occur are perforation of the uterus, endometrial infection and adverse reactions due to anesthesia. When you are at home it is unlikely that serious problems could happen, but if you notice any severe abdominal pain, increased vaginal bleeding or increased temperature, it would be sensible to notify your doctor.
