Michael Lazanakis holds the Diploma of the British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology and can offer the full spectrum of therapeutic options (i.e LLETZ, cervical ablation, warts cauterization).
During colposcopy it is possible, if indicated, to take cervical or vulva biopsies if there is a suspicious pathology. Liquid cytology (Thin-Prep) HPV typing can also be taken if necessary in order to determine the best line of management with conditions of the cervix.
