Babies with SGA need to be checked frequently and additional antenatal visits are essential.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Predisposing factors<\/strong> are treated and this may include stopping smoking, reducing blood pressure and improving nutrition. Rest in bed for part of the day may be helpful.
