At this stage if necessary a chorionic villus sample can be taken for karyotyping and to rule out thalassemia. The Fetal DNA testing to maternal blood can be offered.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"row clearfix\">\n<div class=\"left\">15 weeks<\/div>\n<div class=\"right\">Discussion of lab test results and assessment of the risk of Down Syndrome. Discussion about benefits and risks of amniocentesis.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"row clearfix\">\n<div class=\"left\">16-20 weeks<\/div>\n<div class=\"right\">Possibility to have amniocentesis if requested.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"row clearfix\">\n<div class=\"left\">21-23 weeks<\/div>\n<div class=\"right\">Ultrasound assessment of baby&#8217;s anatomy and Doppler assessment of uterine arteries.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"row clearfix\">\n<div class=\"left\">26 weeks<\/div>\n<div class=\"right\">Routine check-up. Arrange glucose screening for 28 weeks gestation. Schedule blood tests, Coombs test (only if blood group is Rhesus negative) and glucose screening for 28 weeks.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"row clearfix\">\n<div class=\"left\">28-34 weeks<\/div>\n<div class=\"right\">Glucose screening test at 28 weeks gestation. Routine check-up at 30 &amp; 34 weeks gestation Schedule blood test at 28 &amp; 34 weeks gestation. Ultrasound assessment of embryo&#8217;s development and Doppler assessment between 28-34 weeks gestation. Coombs test (only if blood group is Rhesus negative) before Anti-D injection is given. Anti-D to be given if Coombs test is negative in two doses at 28 and 34 weeks gestation or in one dose at 30 weeks gestation depending on the amount of the dose.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"row clearfix\">\n<div class=\"left\">36 weeks<\/div>\n<div class=\"right\">Routine check-up. Vaginal swab to test for Streptococcus B. Routine check-up<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"row clearfix\">\n<div class=\"left\">38 weeks<\/div>\n<div class=\"right\">Routine check-up. Cardiotocography (CTG) and biophysical profile. Routine check-up. Membrane sweep.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"row clearfix\">\n<div class=\"left\">40 weeks<\/div>\n<div class=\"right\">Routine check-up.
